I have personally been extremely grateful for his ministrations both before and after operations to replace both my knees. I consider him to be exceptionally gifted as a physiotherapist who combines his knowledge and wide experience with a sympathetic and kindly manner.

Common questions

These answers are drafted, not taken from the clinic. Draft - to confirm

Do I need a referral from my GP?

No. You can book with us directly. If you are claiming on private health insurance, your insurer may want a GP referral first, so it is worth checking with them before your appointment.

What should I wear?

Loose, comfortable clothing you can move in. Shorts help if the problem is your knee, hip or ankle; a vest top or t‑shirt if it is your shoulder or neck. We have changing rooms if you would rather change here.

Can I bring someone with me?

Always. Bring a partner, a relative or a friend to any appointment. If it helps you to have someone else hear what was said, that is a good reason to bring them.

Do you deal with health insurance?

We are recognised by most major health insurance companies, though we no longer work with BUPA. Contact your insurer first and bring your authorisation code to your first appointment.

Where do I park?

There is plenty of free parking at the Lansdown Club, including disabled parking with step‑free access to the showers and toilets. You do not need to be a member of the club to be treated here.

What if I need to cancel?

Please give us as much notice as you can, ideally 24 hours, so we can offer the slot to someone else. Call 01225 310876 or 07967 603930.
